KP Studio led the renovation and expansion of a 2010 commercial building for NanoTag Biotechnologies in Göttingen, Germany. The project involved the addition of a new level, the design of a full office interior fit-out, and a comprehensive reconfiguration of the existing building to better support NanoTag’s evolving research and workplace needs.

The design approach focused on creating a clear spatial hierarchy between laboratory, office, and shared areas, while improving circulation, daylight access, and flexibility. The upgraded building supports both technical precision and everyday work, transforming an under-utilised structure into a cohesive, fit-for-purpose environment for a growing biotechnology company.

Contributions:

KP Studio led the concept and developed design with Büro Kühl B.V., establishing the overall architectural and spatial strategy. Detailed design was completed by a local architect to support local compliance and delivery.
